(Chicago, IL) – Tommy Hanson, candidate for US Congress for Illinois 5th Congressional District, is excited to announce that he is launching, “Tommy’s Train Talk.” Tommy will be meeting and speaking to commuters at train stations throughout the 5th Congressional district—from the suburbs in Barrington to downtown at the Ogilvie station and all stops in-between. Tommy’s objective is to listen and better understand the issues his fellow citizens in the 5th Congressional District are concerned about.
“I want to connect with my community on a deeper level. You cannot serve a community without knowing the individuals that make up that community”, stated Hanson.
Tommy has been a part of the fabric of the Chicago region his entire life and has been active in his community, working with the people from every political and social spectrum of life and has given back at all levels.
One local commuter, who met Tommy at the train station said, “It was so exciting to meet Tommy in person. You can read about a politician all day long, but until you meet them, you don’t know who they are as an individual. I am thankful that he took the time to meet the individuals of the community on a personal level.”
Tommy will be stopping at the train stations located at Ogilvie Transportation Center, Clybourne, Irving Park, Jefferson Park, Gladstone Park, Norwood Park, Edison Park, Park Ridge, Dee Road, Des Plaines, Cumberland, Mount Prospect, Arlington Heights (racetrack), Palatine, and Barrington. Tommy has been able to meet several commuters so far, and he is excited to meet many more.
Tommy Hanson added, “I’m a father of a teenager, a business owner, a husband and a lifelong resident of the 5th district. I deeply care about the out-of-control crime, runaway inflation and burdensome illegal immigration issue. We must fix these issues and fix them fast. I want to serve my community by representing them in Congress.”
